Event Cancellation

Impact Events reserves the right to cancel (in its absolute discretion) an event due to a lack of registrations or other circumstance. If Impact Events cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund. Should circumstances arise that result in an event being postponed, registrants will have the option to either receive a full refund or transfer registration to the same, or similar, event at the new date.

Registration Cancellation by an attendee at Impact Events

Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event. Impact Events will accept the transfer of an event booking to another individual, if notified in writing (not less than 48 hours prior to the event).

Alterations to Programme – Cancellation/Postponement of Event

  1. Impact PD Event reserves the right (in its absolute discretion) to make alterations to the event programme, venue and timing without notice to registrants.
  2. In the unlikely event of the programme being cancelled by Impact Events, a full refund will be given. Liability, of Impact Events arising out of or in connection with cancellation of an event (of whatever nature and however’s arising) will be limited to the amount of the fee paid by the delegate.In the event of it being found necessary, for whatever reason, that the event is being postponed or the dates being changed, the organisers shall not be liable for any expenditure, damage or loss incurred by the delegate but delegate will be entitled to transfer their registration to the same events which

Speakers

Views expressed by speakers are their own. Impact Events cannot accept liability for advice given, or views expressed, by any speaker at the conference or in any material provided to delegates.

Impact Events Media Policy

By completing the registration form registrants agree to allow Impact Events to use any photographs, video or sound captured from an event or as a result of the event for future Impact PD Event publications and promotions. If you do not wish your image to be used please contact Impact Events.

Registrants who do not wish to have their images (in all forms including photos and video) used by Impact Events, must provide the event manager with notice in writing at least seven business days (prior to the date of an event). All written notices must include a clear photo of the unwilling party’s face to ensure identification is accurate.

Impact Events reserves the right to use any written or other content (in all forms including, including but not limited to posts on social media, responses to event surveys and any email communication) captured from the event or as a result of the event for future Impact PD Event publications and promotions.

Impact Events Privacy Policy

In registering for any Impact PD Event all relevant registration details may be incorporated into a communication list for the benefit of Impact Events. This may be used as a promotion mechanism for future Impact Events resources and services including (but not limited to) upcoming events, opportunities and publications. Should you not wish for this to happen, please notify Impact Events when submitting your registration.

Other than as described below, Impact Events will not sell or share your name, address, e-mail address or other personal information with any other organisation.

Protecting your Personal Information

We store information in different ways, including paper and electronic form. The security of your personal information is important to us and we take commercially reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.

Impact Events may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) satisfy a legal order or comply with legal process; (b) defend the rights of Impact Events or its affiliates or business partners; or (c) protect the personal safety of Impact Events employees, agents, affiliates, business partners, customers or website users.

Credit Card Information

When you purchase services online through our website, we do not collect, access or store your credit card information. All financial information, including credit card information, is sent directly to the third party that processes credit card transactions on Impact Events behalf.

When you submit your credit card details on a form to be processed, we store these securely and retain for the amount of time specified by law.

Security

This website has reasonable technical and organisational security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control. We cannot guarantee that unauthorised third parties will never be able to defeat those security measures. Although we cannot guarantee that our systems are 100% secure 100% of the time, we periodically update and test our technology in order to improve the protection of customer information. We use a secure server to transmit sensitive data to and from our site. All data (including your credit card information) transmitted through our secure web server is encrypted so no one else can read it.

Data Protection

By submitting registration details, delegates agree to allow Impact Events and companies associated with the conference to contact them regarding their services. Delegates who do not wish to receive such communications please email info@impactpdevents.com.au The contact details of registered delegates will be placed on the attendee list which will be passed to sponsoring companies and to all attendees for them to see who is at the conference for the purpose of networking and meetings. Delegates who do not wish to be included on this list should advise Impact Events in writing at the time of booking.

Websites & Links

The workshop and associated Impact Events websites may link to other websites and networking tools provided for the convenience of the users. The contents of these websites are maintained by their owners, for which Impact Events takes no responsibility. Neither can responsibility be taken for contents of any website linking to this website.

Insurance

It is the responsibility of the delegate to arrange appropriate insurance cover in connection with their attendance at the conference. Impact Events cannot be held liable for any loss, liability or damage to personal property.
